Access Point
The Sensys Networks Access Point (AP) is an intelligent LINUX device used to maintain two-way communications with in-ground wireless sensors, and battery-powered repeaters. Using either wired and/or wireless connections, APs relay data to roadside controllers, remote servers, traffic management systems, or other vehicle detection applications.
Access Points are available in the following configurations:
- AP240-E: RJ45 port supports Ethernet interface for field configuration and data relay, statistics-processing and VPN functionality; configurable with 48VDC or 12VDC power input via RJ45 port
- AP240-S: RJ45 port supports simultaneous Ethernet and CC card communications (split via Access Box)
- AP240-ES: RJ45 port supports simultaneous Ethernet and CC card communications (split via Access Box) combined with data relay, statistics-processing and VPN functionality
- AP240-EG: RJ45 port supports Ethernet interface for field configuration and data relay, statistics-processing and VPN functionality; configurable with 48VDC or 12VDC power input via RJ45 port with Integrated GPRS cellular data modem for data relay via GSM
- AP240-ESG: RJ45 port supports simultaneous Ethernet and CC card communications (split via Access Box) combined with data relay, statistics-processing and VPN functionality with Integrated GPRS cellular data modem for data relay via GSM
