Method 1:
If this is your first time installing a version of TrafficDot on your machine, the installer will attempt to install a specific version of the Java Runtime Environment (JRE 6, update 6).
When the Java Setup screen comes up, check the Show Advanced Options Panel option, then click Accept.
On the following screen next to the Install to: directory path, click on Change.
Change the Java install path from C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre1.6.0_06\ to C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.6.0_06\ and click OK.
Click Next and the Java installation will finish. The TrafficDot installation process will finish and you should be able to run TrafficDot by clicking on the .exe file.
Method 2:
If a version of TrafficDot has been previously installed and/or JRE 6, update 6 has been installed on your Windows 64-bit OS already, you can copy the C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre1.6.0_06\ directory to C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.6.0_06\. The TrafficDot executable should run as normal.
